An early present for everyone – our Education and Equalities team has just published our education programme for 2024.

UNISON South West join regional convenor Ali Evans said: “Following the adoption of UNISON’s Organising to Win plan at our 2023 National Delegate Conference, this year’s Education programme will concentrate on the main aims of the plan – the training, development and retention of new stewards and activists. 2024 will also see the launch of a new series of workshops and courses designed to continue to build UNISON the workplace – both through new activist courses and our member learning programme.

“This will include, for the first time, a suite of workshops to help gain, develop, and support workplace contacts/active members.

“2024 is a crucial year for UNISON and our education programme is at the heart of how we organise and how members and activists get active in their workplaces, and how we support branches in giving members a voice.”
