A three night break at Croyde Bay has raised £229.70 for UNISON’s There For You charity following a raffle at UNISON’s Get Active event in Taunton.
The prize, kindly donated by UNISON’s seaside resort in North Devon, entitles the winner to a three night stay in one of their brand new luxury lodges.
Simon Willis, Head of Marketing at Croyde Bay, said:
“Get Active is a great event in the region and we are always honoured to be asked to be a part of it.
“We have been sponsoring Get Active for the past five years and this year we were able to offer an even better prize thanks to our new lodge accommodation.
“Our lodges are proving incredibly popular with UNISON members and even more so currently, as we have 30% off stays from 1 March – 1 December 2019 if booked before 2 March.”
The money raised from the raffle has gone to UNISON’s There for You welfare charity which is unique to UNISON offering members financial and emotional support in times of difficulty.
Up until 15th February, There for You are accepting applications for support with fuel bills via their Winter Fuel Grants.
