The Housing crisis is disproportionately affecting young people. Young members of the south west have had enough. Help us to campaign against the housing crisis.

The Young Members Forum sent out a survey for young people across the region to complete. We had just under 60 responses.

It showed common outcomes that young members and people are suffering:
⬆        High rent
🏠        Poor living conditions
🧾        Section 21 eviction
😡        Un-responsive landlords
👷‍♂️        Living far away from work
🔐        Insecurity of your home
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦     Having to live with family longer
💸       Limited income to spend

The survey results have been collated and our Young Members Forum are meeting in the coming weeks to view the common themes and start their campaign.

Keep an eye on our campaign page for updates!

If you have any further questions about the survey, please feel free to email the team at swyoung@unison.co.uk
