Due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation, and the uncertainty over how long the current measures will be necessary, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone the Branch Officers training scheduled to happen at Croyde Bay in July.
We are not able to give details of a rescheduled event at this stage, but our plan will be to seek to organise new dates for the autumn or hold two training events in 2021 depending on the guidance nearer the time. We will of course let you know of any updates on this as soon as we can.
We have looked at other options on how to run this, but given that this event usually consists of up to eleven courses with over 70 people attending, we feel that turning this into an online event would present to many issues that would impact on the quality of the event. We are, however, looking at the possibility of some interim bite-sized online training to be available if the event is pushed back into 2021.
