Regional launch of the year of LGBT+ workers

UNISON South West’s LGBT+ self-organised group will be launching UNISON’s year of LGBT+ workers at an event bringing together UNISON LGBT+ members, activists and allies under the theme “LGBT+ history month and why LGBT+ rights are still a battle to be fought for”.

This will be a day of discussion, workshops and speakers looking at why LGBT+ rights are important, and why and how we organise as a union on LGBT+ issues.

This event is open to all UNISON members in the South West, whether you identify as LGBT+ or not – allies are very welcome, as are those who want to find out more.
