Further Learning – Interactive Workshop for UNISON Activists
Having effective conversations
9 December
10am – 12pm & 2pm – 4pm
One 4-hour session with a break in the middle
This new course is aimed at both experienced and new activists and will look at how to have more effective conversations with members and other activists.
The course will include:
- How to tackle apathy and encourage members to get more involved
- How effective conversations helps union organising
- Gaining confidence in speaking to members
- How to handle difficult conversations and how to challenge and overcome negative responses
