Democracy, Change and UNISON’s Campaign Fund – a day of workshops and discussion (POSTPONED)

This one-day event will look what UNISON’s campaign fund is, and what it allows us to do and organise around.

As well, this event to for encouraging members and activists to get involved in campaigning. The aim of the day is to help people to start becoming more active in political issues that affect their workplaces and their communities.

There will be workshops on:

  • What is the campaign fund and why it is important?
  • A workshop by campaigning organisation Hope not Hate
  • Conversations with friends, family and colleagues: Why it is important to vote

There will also be a plenary session with Kerry Baigent, UNISON South West regional secretary.

The event is open to all South West UNISON activists, Labour Link representatives, and members who would like to get more involved in campaigning around issues.

Please note: Whilst this is likely to be a general election year, this event is funded by UNISON’s campaign fund and is therefore not a party-political event.
