The weekend is open to all newly elected branch officers who hold the following positions in their branch.
Workshops are planned for the following roles (dependent on demand):
- Branch Secretary
- Branch Chair
- Branch Treasurer
- Branch Communication Officer
- Health and Safety Office
- International Officer
- Membership Officer
- Equality Co-ordinator
Over the three days, this course will help you understand:
- The structure of UNISON, its aims and objectives and how it operates
- The key duties and role of your specific post
You will need the authorisation of their Branch to attend. We will contact your branch when you have submitted your booking form to confirm your booking.
Please make sure you let us know of any access/dietary requirements on your booking form so we can try our best to accommodate them.

Note for branches:
There will be a charge to the branch of £200 per attendee for the weekend. This is not a course fee, but a contribution by your branch towards your accommodation and food costs, all of which are booked on your behalf.
