All care workers should be paid a real Living Wage for all hours worked, including during sleep-in shifts, and certainly no less than the national minimum wage. The minimum wage depends on your age and is £8.91 / hour if you are 23 and over, £8.36 / hour if you are 21 to 22, and £6.56 / hour if you are 18 to 20.
