Get Active award for Bristol Uni workplace learning project

Sarah Tauwhere won UNISON South West’s Learning Initiative award after setting up a series of courses for her colleagues

Sarah, a coordinator for the Industrial Doctorate Centre at the University of Bristol, was given the Learning Initiative award in recognition of her work providing educational courses for her colleagues.

Responding to her award, Sarah said: “it’s a privilege to receive this award. I’d like to thank my friends in UNISON who supported my work developing on-the-job learning programmes.

Bristol University is a better place thanks to trade union education programmes and I’m proud to have played my part in that”.
