750 NHS staff at Gloucester and Cheltenham hospitals are at risk of being transferred to a “subsidiary company” (subco).
Join the rally outside the venue for Gloucestershire NHS’ governors meeting. These people are elected to represent the views of staff and the community.
Let’s make sure they know we want the NHS to stay together in public ownership!
Why we need to stop Gloucestershire NHS subco
NHS bosses have been clear that staff in these subcos will be outside the NHS. To start with, this will cover essential workers like porters, catering, and domestic assistants.
These staff aren’t disposable – they’re at the heart of looking after you and your loved ones in hospital.
If these subco plans go ahead, there is nothing stopping them transferring nurses and others into private companies in future
