Dorset
This course is designed to meet the requirements of the Employment Relations Act (ERA) recertification, which states that Stewards need to update their skills and training every 5 years. It involves group work and discussion. It is also a good opportunity to network and share ideas and experiences.

This ½ day online course delivered by a specialist tutor via zoom is aimed at UNISON Members who regularly in work may often be faced with tackling difficult conversations or topics, or who may often have service users who are aggressive or angry.

Swansea
This year’s National Young Members Conference 2024 will take place in Swansea!
This course and resources offer a range of ideas and checklists for activists to help them incorporate anti racism in their day-to-day campaigning, organising, recruitment and negotiation work, which in turn will help end the isolation felt by many Black workers and encourage proactive involvement in fighting for a fairer workplace.
This workshop, developed in conjunction with our regional LGBT+ Self-Organised Group, and will look at UNISON’s policies and how to be a trans ally.
UNISON learning reps (ULRs) are volunteers who are willing to encourage and support other colleagues with learning in the workplace.
Race Discrimination Claims Protocol Workshop. This workshop is aaimed at Branch Officers, Stewards, and Health & Safety reps. It will give an overview of the UNISON’s Race Discrimination Protocol and identify organising opportunities for branches and activists.
