UNISON’s LAY tutor training programme is, aimed at ULRs, Branch Education Officers or other Branch Activists who want to develop their skills in trade union education, but is also relevant for branch officers who may wish to lead workshops or discussions in the branch. This is for Part 2.
This course and resources offer a range of ideas and checklists for activists to help them incorporate anti racism in their day-to-day campaigning, organising, recruitment and negotiation work, which in turn will help end the isolation felt by many Black workers and encourage proactive involvement in fighting for a fairer workplace.

Another key skill is the art of debate to win people over to the values and ideas of trade unionism. This 3-day course will cover both skills and give you confidence to speak up, inspire people and get our message out there.
