Cornwall Acute Health AGM

UNISON Cornwall Acute Health Branch will be holding its first ever online Annual General Meeting (AGM) in October, and you’re invited!

This is the chance for you and your colleagues to decide what you want to improve at work and who you want to represent you, run your branch and lead on campaigns.

We are holding two online meetings, and you can attend whichever is most convenient for you.

Register to attend:

Wednesday 13 October, 6-7 pm

Thursday 14 October, 1-2 pm

If you have any questions or would like support to access the meeting, please email cornwallacutehealth@unison.co.uk or call 01392 442 650.

Who do you want to represent you?

A whole range of different roles are available, with different responsibilities, skill sets and time commitments. All come with full training and reasonable paid time off work. If you want to make life at work better, for you and your colleagues, look at the roles available: Cornwall Acute Branch Roles

The first round of nominations has now closed, but you now have until 5pm on Friday 17 September to put yourself forward for a vacant role, or nominate a colleague. To nominate yourself or a colleague for any of these roles, or to ask for more information click the relevant button below:

What do you want to change at work?

What do you care about and want your UNISON branch to campaign about and change? Now is the time to speak up! All UNISON members are invited to submit motions to the AGM.

These are calls to action that will be discussed and voted on in the meeting.

Read our motions guidance for more information, and make sure you submit your motions, and any proposed rule changes, by 5pm on Friday 24 September, by sending an email to cornwallacutehealth@unison.co.uk

What Now?

This has been a remarkable year for UNISON members in Cornwall and across the country. We have faced the challenges of COVID and seen our membership increase. This AGM is your chance to ensure we keep going from strength to strength and have the power and unity to face the big challenges that lie ahead.

Register online today and we’ll see you in October.
