UNISON Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole Branch is currently recruiting a Branch Office Administrator to join their team.

The role will undertake the administrative and office duties necessary to support the Branch Secretary and other elected branch officers and stewards, and ensure an efficient, effective and confidential support service is provided to the Branch. The role also provides an administrative service for UNISON members.

Candidates must have an excellent knowledge of administration, data maintenance, agenda preparation and committee administration, drafting and producing communications. You will need excellent ICT skills.

You must also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to deal with a range of issues in a sensitive and positive manner. You will have an attention to detail and produce accurate information, be proactive and conscientious, with good organisational skills, to work on your own initiative or as part of a team.

An understanding of trade unions and their objectives would be beneficial.
