UNISON South West is looking for an Area Fighting Fund Organiser to join the Organising Team, based in Exeter.

The successful candidate will bring their experience and skills to the role. They will be able to develop and deliver recruitment and organising initiatives and campaigns across the region, train and develop stewards, undertake case work, advise, and support and also mentor branch officers and/or regional activists.

You will have excellent presentation skills and communication skills, both face-to-face and on paper. A sound understanding of trade unions and their objectives is essential along with a good understanding of UNISON’s policies and objectives.

You will need to be able to travel within the region for meetings/training as required.

You will be required to live within reasonable travelling distance of the area you are asked to cover.
