The Royal Devon & Exeter Health branch is currently recruiting a Branch Administrator/Organiser to the Exeter area and Community Hospitals across Devon. Successful candidates will bring their experience and skills in assisting the branch to develop systems and general administrative support, they will also recruit, map membership density, develop new activists, organise and drive forward our campaigning work.

The successful candidate will be an experienced team player, have good communication and time management skills, including the ability to organise your own workload and effectively manage your priorities. You will need to undertake a range of administrative duties to support our members and activists including often working to tight deadlines and being responsible for updating and maintaining accurate and confidential records.

To undertake this role you must have good interpersonal and IT skills, excellent administrative and organisational skills and a good understanding and knowledge of the trade union movement.

You will need to be able to travel within the geographical location of Devon and on occasions elsewhere for meetings/training as required.  You will be required to live within reasonable travelling distance of the area you are asked to cover.
